Right now, it feels likes many of us are living under the shadow of sadness and grief…

Grief for those who have died, for a broken relationship, for loss of something dear to us. For when something changes in our own world as we struggle to understand why something has happened to us. Grief when we or someone we love becomes sick or incapacitated.

As you may know, in July many of the communities we serve were affected, or even destroyed, by the devastating floods that swept through Zumalai. Families, elderly and children are still grieving for what they lost – their homes, their farmlands, their treasured few possessions. Roads in and out of villages were washed away.

Yet, there is still much to do to help the people of Zumalai and that is why we are asking for your support today.

Your tax-deductible donation will enable us to continue to provide families with the food staples they need until their farmlands are ready to once again yield crops. To ensure children grow up healthy and strong with a good education and a nutritious healthy meal at school. And your donation can help our Carmelite students continue their academic studies so that one day they can serve you and our Carmelite family.

Donate today to help bring hope back into a time of grief…
